As you walk around the store take a look at the necklaces for sale in the jewelry section for ideas, and smile because your necklaces will be prettier and cheaper. Very rarely do I spend more than $10.
The next step in how to make a necklace is picking a pattern. Remember some of the patterns you saw at the store and look at the different colors of beads and pendants you purchased. Lay out the arrangement of beads and pendant to see how they would look as a completed necklace. Once you’re happy with your pattern, it’s time to start making your necklace.
To begin making your necklace, knot the wire around the clasp. Then it’s time to add the beads in the pattern you decided on. Only fill half of the necklace with beads and then add your pendant. Fill the rest of the necklace with your beads, making sure to follow the same pattern if you want your necklace to be symmetrical. Once you’ve finished, knot the other end of the necklace around the clasp. Then use the jewelry glue to secure both ends to the clasp and cut the wire. Allow the necklace to dry for a few days.
